So my study abroad term is almost over which is insane because it feels like it just started. I still have photo's to upload from January, never mind the ones from this trip. I will try to get some up before I am done here, because then I will be away from DA and the internet in general for 6 weeks of traveling.

So look for some random Florida/Dolphin/Bird/Europe photo's coming soon!

I have personally traveled to Port-au-Prince, Haiti with them twice and I can vouch that even prior to the quake the work they have done is wonderful. They run a medical clinic, which is fortunate enough to still be standing, and it is currently the ONLY aid in the Bwa Nef section of Cite Soleil (one of the poorest areas in the western hemisphere). Literally every dollar/pound/euro/etc. counts so please check them out and donate so that they can continue to supply medical care to those who have no where else to go.

Ok so I'm finally uploading some photo's. As you probably noticed I put up a few yesterday. Most will end up in scraps, they aren't the best. I only like three of them (Copley, First Mayor and Shaw Memorial). You might wonder why I put them up if I know they aren't my best work. Well for starters, two of them are holiday themed. Just for fun. The rest are all from around Boston. I love Boston, it has been my home for the past three years and hopefully it will continue to be my home once I am done with school and find a job. Anyways, in two weeks I am going abroad for a few weeks. I am very excited about this but I am going to miss Boston. So I figured I would put them up for a little while, and then move the not-so-great ones to scraps.

The good news is that since I am doing my last semester abroad I am sort of done with law school already. Don't get me wrong, the abroad program won't be easy. I am going to have to write a ton of papers (which is different than the exams we do here in the US) but the grades don't transfer in so there isn't as much pressure, as long as I pass which will not be a problem. So definitely feeling some relief for that. Now I just need to get a job and pass the BAR. Fun times...

Well have a safe and fun holiday season and Happy New Years to everyone. I will probably continue to update my journal in the new year as I explore new places while in Europe.

I had a whole "I'm back" thing with promises to put up my travel photo's. Then two days later my laptop died with all my pictures on it. Luckily they were still there when I got it back, should have backed it up immediately but put it off for three days (have a slow external hard drive, takes forever and I'm lazy). Then the laptop dies again. Just got it back, pictures still intact. So... long story short I'm still working on getting those photo's up and I'm not pleased with HP right now. Plus I am going to backup my stuff as soon as I have a free moment to do so.

I'm not going to promise to get a bunch of photos up right away because finals are upon us and it is a crazy time. I do plan to get them all done and up before the end of the year, because I will be abroad for a few weeks starting in January and will be taking photographs wherever I go. So excited

No seriously, I took a brief hiatus but I have now returned. I spent the summer working. I finally got a new camera. Took a trip out west which was both a much needed break and inspiration to get back to photography.

Over the next week or so I will be uploading a lot. First I am cleaning up my gallery and resubmitting a few particular shots from my flower study. Then I have some new photo's from borrowed cameras prior to getting my new one. But most of them will be from the new camera and my trip.

So hopefully that will liven up my page a bit. Thanks to everyone who actually reads this, as well as the people who had commented and fav'd my work while I was gone.
